CCS (Community Childcare Scheme)
If you are currently availing of government support you may qualify for a subsidised childcare place. For more information on eligibilty visit www.affordablechildcare.ie . In order to apply for this scheme we would require copies of your government support letters, medical card, proof of date of birth and PPS numbers.
CETS Scheme (Childcare Education and Training Support Programme)
If you have applied for a vocational training course you may qualify for a subsiised childcare place for your child. CETS can provide full time , part-time or afterschool childcare places.
In order to apply for a CETS place we would require you to have a letter from your college confirming that you are eligible for a CETS place, and it should state the course start and finish date. You would also need to provide proof of date of birth and PPS for your child and yourself..
***March 2017 - The CETS scheme has been expanded to include parents who are attendeding Secondary school. The parent must obtain a letter from the school to say they are eligible. The letter should include both child and parents PPSNs and dates of birth..
CEC (Community Employment Childcare programme)
The CEC is administered on behalf of the Department of Social Protection (DSP) and provides childacre for children of parents who are participating on Community Employment Schemes.
